What are some common causes for failed captures? Requests to capture video most commonly fail for the following reasons: The camera is either not plugged in or is not properly installed on the system. The buffer is not recording video data. In general, if you can see Behavior Capture's video window, then the buffer is recording (even if the window is minimized). There is not enough free space on the hard drive.  The buffer requires hard drive space to write its temporary video data. Please contact us for further assistance.
