Question Title What are some common causes for failed captures?
Requests to capture video most commonly fail for the following reasons:
  • The camera is either not plugged in or is not properly installed on the system.
  • The buffer is not recording video data. In general, if you can see Behavior Capture's video window, then the buffer is recording (even if the window is minimized).
  • There is not enough free space on the hard drive.  The buffer requires hard drive space to write its temporary video data.
